Guitar Marathon: Bell'Italia

This year's edition of the 92nd Street Y's biennial guitar blowout, curated by Eliot Fisk and David Spelman with host John Schaefer, unearths innumerable treasures from 600 years of Italian guitar music, from lute and theorbo pieces of the Renaissance to Berio's virtuosic 20th-century works for the modern guitar. In addition to ten pluckers, the daylong event will also feature the Harlem String Quartet and vocal ensemble Lionheart.
