Harris Eisenstadt and September Trio

Eloquent percussionist Harris Eisenstadt leads so many projects, it can be hard to keep them all straight. The self-titled album by his September Trio—with pianist Angelica Sanchez and saxist Ellery Eskelin—slipped out quietly last summer, and tonight the band makes a rare live appearance, showing off its haunting abstract balladry.
