Heavy Metal Duo

The name on the marquee tonight doesn't mean what you think it does—unless you're a longtime downtown-jazz habitue, in which case you're well aware of this duo featuring boisterous trombonist Ray Anderson and resourceful tuba player Bob Stewart. It's short on full-arm barre chords and twirling drumsticks, maybe, but this seasoned combo's firepower will still impress.
