Hess Is More

Hess Is More is the brainy pop vehicle of the Danish musician Mikkel Hess. Hits, his American debut (on Nublu), abounds with juicy melodies and electronic beats. It is also unabashedly funny, with Hess assuming vocal guises, from goofball to lothario. Through April and May, Hess plays a weekly residency at Nublu featuring a new band (replete with sax!). Curated by Hess and the visual artist Jacob Wildschiotz, the residency features special guests each week, drawn from outside the music world. Savor the surprise.
