Homayoun Shajarian & Hamnavazan Ensemble

Tehran-born artist Homayoun Shajarian has a lot on his plate: As the son of Persian master vocalist Mohammad Reza Shajarian, he's been charged with overhauling the classical genre in order to appeal to a younger Iranian generation. Tonight he brings his harmonious and somewhat unorthodox compositions to Town Hall.
