Honky-Tonk to Ragtime: Toe Tappin' Tunes

Kids can join in this interactive exploration of music written by two 19th-century composers, "Oh! Susanna" scribe Stephen Foster and the King of Ragtime, Scott Joplin. Opera singer Jennifer S. Greene will discuss the development of American folk music and ragtime, then treat little ears to a live performance. Ages 6 to 14.
