Horna + Kommandant

Horna spices up its old-school black metal with chugging riffs and galloping hardcore beats. This week the long-running Finnish crew (whose name translates to "abyss") plays twice at Saint Vitus, cobilled with Kommandant, a cold and unrelenting Chicago black-metal outfit with an unsettling sense of totalitarian pageantry. Abazagorath and Woe round out the ticket on Saturday, while Mutilation Rites and Mortum open Wednesday's show.
