Brooklynite and blues-rock veteran Hugh Pool has been known to kick up a righteous cloud of roots dust with a trio, but we've always been partial to the tall man's solo work on that National guitar. If he doesn't add much to the tradition, you can sure as hell count on him to uphold it with pride.
