Ilhan Ersahin's Istanbul Sessions

Saxophonist and composer Ilhan Ersahin is the dynamic linchpin behind the lively doings at Nublu in the East Village, but tonight he's setting up shop a bit farther west for the U.S. debut of Istanbul Sessions, a working combo that fuses contemporary jazz and funk with Turkish sounds and spirit.
