Ivo Perelman, Daniel Levin and Andrew Cyrille

Prolific saxophonist Ivo Perelman, long among the most advanced students of the Coltrane-Ayler ecstatic-jazz axis, dropped off the scene for a time in order to concentrate on his painting. Still, it comes as no surprise whatsoever that a player who felt music so passionately would ultimately have to come back around; during a three-evening stint at Roulette he'll work with cellist Daniel Levin and drum master Andrew Cyrille.
