Jane Monheit

Jane Monheit has a big, smooth, lovely voice that pleases jazz cats, pop fans and cabaretters alike. In her latest Birdland set, the songbird celebrates her first new album in five years, Come What May, which includes her versions of such Great American Songbook "Lush Life," "My Funny Valentine," "The Nearness of You" and "The Man That Got Away." She is joined by Michael Kanan on piano, Miles Okazaki on guitar and husband Rick Montalbano on drums.
