Japanther + Shellshag + Heavy Cream

Japanther's anthemic noise-pop can sound a little thin on record, but the band's knack for whipping a roomful of young hipsters into a frenzy is awesome to behold. This is punk as performance art, and few in town do it better. Opening is local duo Shellshag, which does a great job of projecting scruffy recklessness.
