Current frontman Jay Reincke isn't this classic vocal outfit's original Jay. But neither was Jay Black, the operatic-voiced lead singer on their ’60s smashes "Come a Little Bit Closer," "Only in America" and "Cara Mia." Although Black continued performing under the Americans banner for decades after the group split, three of the original members recently bought the name back in federal court after Black filed for bankruptcy, and have regrouped with Black sound-alike Reincke. Huh.
