Jay Rodriguez Residency

Talk about versatile: Jay Rodriguez has held the sax chair in the funk outfit Groove Collective and Bobby Sanábria's Afro-Cuban jazz band Ascención. Here, the multireed instrumentalist heads his sizable Red, Black and Green Eco-Music Chamber Ensemble, and presents a politically charged program featuring his own work, as well as pieces by Marie Incontrera (who also conducts the group), Fred Ho and the late Cal Massey.
