Foster Reed's experimental-music label New Albion has taken over John Zorn's den of weird for the second half of July, bringing a mix of free jazz, improvisation acts and wacky new-music composer-performers. For tonight's prime-time set at 8pm, musician Jeffrey Roden turns in his bass for a piano to serve up his work 12 Prayers, which he has dedicated to two ambient masters, Arvo Pärt and Morton Feldman.
