Jerry "The Iceman" Butler

R&B veteran Jerry Butler cofounded the Impressions with Curtis Mayfield in 1958—he wrote the lovely soul staple "Your Precious Love" at age 18—and is now commissioner of Cook County, IL. Why the nickname? Because he's so cool, of course!
