Jesse Malin

Veteran local rocker, and frontman of the much-loved, intermittently active D Generation, Jesse Malin has unimpeachable credentials: His social circle includes Ryan Adams and Bruce Springsteen, he casually references pop-culture touchstones, and he reveres cool music, ranging from ’60s girl groups and Motown to the Ramones and the Replacements. His own fare tends toward punk-informed roots rock, and he hits the LES here with a batch of new, soon-to-be-released songs. Kevn Kinney and Anthony D'Amato open July 30, while the Wans open Aug 6.
