Jim Caruso's Cast Party Goes to the Movies

For more than a decade, the waggish Jim Caruso has presided over the weekly open-mike Cast Party at Birdland. Now he corrals some of his most compelling regulars—including Marilyn Maye, Jane Monheit, Christina Bianco, Natalie Douglas and Jeffry Denman—for a tribute to songs from Hollywood's golden era, part of the American Songbook series.
