If anyone's got the right to call his band Kind of Blue, it's drummer Jimmy Cobb, the sole surviving player from the fabled sessions that birthed the famous Miles Davis LP of that name. Cobb provides his imperturbable swing behind a sextet that includes Jeremy Pelt, Vincent Herring, Javon Jackson, Larry Willis and Buster Williams.
