English singer-songwriter John Wesley Harding (the musical alias of novelist Wesley Stace) has long been likened to a Billy Bragg–Elvis Costello combo for his biting, ironic folk. His latest (and 19th!) album features members of R.E.M. and the Decemberists—fingers crossed for some guest appearances.
