Jolie Holland + Sallie Ford & the Sound Outside

Brooklyn transplant Jolie Holland has traditionally been a bit of an eccentric, singing dour rootsy tunes in a peculiar, drawn-out Texas accent (she's a founding member of the Be Good Tanyas). The talented songwriter—who has moved a little closer toward the middle lately—plays the LES tonight in support of a new disc, Pint of Blood.
