Jon Irabagon and Mike Pride + Powerdove

The debut album from the duo of saxist Jon Irabagon and drummer Mike Pride, I Don't Hear Nothing but the Blues, was both one of the most uncompromising and the most enjoyable releases of 2009. Expect a lengthy, continuous improv set filled with exquisite tension. Sharing the bill is the unsettling avant-folkie Annie Lewandowski, who performs as Powerdove.
