Jose Alberto "El Canario"

Singer and Latin star José Alberto was born in the Dominican Republic, grew up in Puerto Rico and moved to Gotham in the ’70s, where he went on to lead celebrated salsa band Tipica 73. The veteran artist—known as El Canario for his exceptional whistling abilities—leads an evening twirl in the park. At B.B. King's, salsa singer Domingo Quiñones opens.
