Blues nut Josh Charles studied under Dr. John and made something of a ripple last year with his song for New Orleans, “Healing Time.” He’s now playing behind his debut album, Love Work & Money, a poppy piece of vanilla-flavored funk, and a new EP— a Hendrix homage titled Trippin' the Keys.
