If your knowledge of modern Polish music extends no further than Lutoslawski, Penderecki and Górecki, then this extensive Juilliard School festival is precisely the crash course you need in order to become conversant. You'll hear works by other major creators, like Grazyna Bacewicz, Wojciech Kilar, Kazimierz Serocki and Tadeusz Baird, as well as up-to-the-minute pieces by Hanna Kulenty, Pawel Mykietyn and others.
