Juilliard String Quartet

The Greenwich Village club seems to be the newest destination for standard-rep string quartets. Let's see if the venerable Juilliard foursome can overcome clanking glasses and noisy ventilation to give a satisfying performance of Haydn's exuberant String Quartet in G major (Op. 54, No. 1) and Carter's significantly crunchier String Quartet No. 5.
