Even Columbia's Italian Academy has found a way to get in on the Liszt mania that's been sweeping the city in the composer's bicentennial year. Today the pianist will perform the second book, subtitled "Italy," of Liszt's musical travelogue Années de pèlerinage. Professor Paolo Valesio will complement the music with readings of Italian poetry.
