After a recent Village Vanguard run, Kirk Lightsey, a consummate Detroit bop master whose CV includes mid-’60s work with Chet Baker and an ’80s stint with all-star band the Leaders, returns to the Village for two solo appearances at new Smalls spin-off Mezzrow.
