Kris Davis, Max Johnson and Mike Pride + Max Johnson Quartet

Bassist Max Johnson pulls double duty tonight. At 8pm, he anchors a quartet with reedist Mark Whitecage, trombonist Steve Swell and drummer Tyshawn Sorey, celebrating a new CD on the Not Two label, and at 10pm he's the fulcrum between two canny young talents, pianist Kris Davis and percussionist Mike Pride.
