Lee Fields and the Expressions + Charles Bradley and the Menahan Street Band

Lee Fields’s discography stretches back four decades, but it wasn’t until the late 1990s that the NYC resident and North Carolina native began releasing music at a consistent clip. Fields is one of the more prolific players on the retro-soul scene commonly associated with his former label, Daptone. Opening is Daptone’s funky Menahan Street Band, backing a soul wailer of its own, Charles Bradley—whose album No Time for Dreaming is due on the label next year.
