Not just another woozy band from Sweden, Little Dragon is an extremely danceable electropop outfit driven by the smoky croon of Yukimi Nagano (she's Japanese-Swedish), as heard on the band's excellent new disc, Ritual Union. Opener Javelin sounds like a DIY version of Ratatat, performing what seem like lost dance anthems from an unkempt disco—a little hip-hop, a little electronica and a whole lotta beats.
