Chicago's James Pobiega, a 6'6" street performer who calls himself Little Howlin' Wolf, shares his namesake's weathered croak, but the similarities end there. Pobiega, who has been issuing DIY dispatches since the ’70s, seasons his outsider blues with brain-warping sound collage; no wonder the contemporary noise scene embraces him.
