Loser's Lounge: Tribute to Carole King

The celebrated, stalwart NYC covers act this time turns its collective hand to the oeuvre of Carole King—Brill Building genius and bouncy-haired singer-songwriting legend. We're fully determined to sing along loudly to "I Feel the Earth Move," and content to swoon quietly to "You've Got a Friend." Special guests include Lala Brooks of the Crystals (she'll sing “He Hit Me [And It Felt Like a Kiss]”), and Yo La Tengo's Ira Kaplan joins the party on Thursday.
