Lost Harp of the Silk Road: Tomoko Sugawara

Sophisticated harpist Tomoko Sugawara performs on a modern re-creation of the kugo, an archaic instrument with more than 20 strings, once popular far and wide on the Silk Road trade route. She'll play new pieces alongside ancient works from Spain, Iran and China, accompanied with shakuhachi, oud and drums.
