Luis Resto

Luis Resto's name might draw a blank, but you've certainly heard his work: An in-demand session musician and arranger, Resto wrote most of the songs heard in the Eminem film 8 Mile, including the epochal single "Lose Yourself," which earned him an Oscar and a Grammy. He's also backed Patti Smith at Lincoln Center and recorded with Iggy Pop; tonight he's fronting his own combo.
