Scottish composer James MacMillan, whose recent Violin Concerto made its local debut on last night's Philadelphia Orchestra concert, is the subject of Carnegie Hall's latest Making Music program. He'll submit to interrogation by Jeremy Geffen, and will oversee a program featuring three more works: his Piano Sonata, Horn Quintet and Raising Sparks. Performers include pianist Inon Barnatan, French-horn player Eric Ruske and the Brentano String Quartet.
