Downtown pianist Jed Distler hosts this three-day piano festival, which features three vastly different keyboardists. On Sun 21, Bay Area native Jerome Kuderna makes a rare NY appearance, playing thorny repertoire by Jenks, Carter, Babbitt, Helps and Sessions. Mon 22 swings a bit more, with jazzer William Komaiko and bassist Dick Sarpola taking the stage. Distler himself is joined by the virtuoso Jung Lin on Tue 23 for a four-hand piano version of Canto Ostinato, a two-hour modular meditation by Dutch minimalist Simeon ten Holt.
