Marah + The Madison Square Gardeners

It's not quite the second coming of rock, as Nick Hornby would have it, but Philadelphia's Marah has an endearingly rootsy sound, with scruffy harmonies in all the right places and a vibe that manages to combine urban grittiness and rural laziness.
