Marco Cappelli Residency

Edgy axman Marco Cappelli is best known for his Extreme Guitar Project, a series featuring commissioned works by Elliott Sharp, Marc Ribot and other esteemed iconoclasts. Here he presents a number of different projects at a weeklong stay at the Stone, including his IDR unit (a starry percussionist-turntablist collaboration) and acoustic duo specializing in deft, lyrical and highly interactive chamber jazz.
