Bass virtuoso Mark Dresser plays the fulcrum in two disparate trios, each including a unique mix of players and styles. The early show features an ultra-rare local appearance by Russian percussionist Vladimir Tarasov, who for years anchored the brilliantly anarchic Ganelin Trio, and deft violinist Jason Kao Hwang.
