Though known for writing pensive folk-inflected songs in the Red House Painters and Sun Kill Moon, Mark Kozelek has, in recent years, revealed himself to be a surprisingly eclectic performer. An album of acoustic AC/DC covers triumphed over its novelty, and he even went movie star—well, playing a bassist—in Almost Famous. Tonight he sings happy songs with a frown and sad ones with a smile. Opening is talented local singer-songwriter Jennifer O'Conner.
