Few know how to rock hand claps in a song like pop-music auteur Marshall Crenshaw does. He has a gift for peppy tunes, powered by a penchant for jangly guitars, catchy melodies and sly lyrics—yet he retains the strength needed to play with the revived MC5, as well. Celebrating 30 years in music at the Winery this weekend, he'll be joined by Yo La Tengo's Ira Kaplan, Graham Maby and his brother Robert Crenshaw.
