Masters of Indian Music: Pandit Jasraj

Born to a musical family in 1930, Pandit Jasraj is one of India's most venerated North Indian singers, a master of the Mewati style, with a thrilling three-and-a-half-octave range. For this rare New York appearance, he is joined by fellow vocalist Tripti Mukherjee and instrumentalists playing tabla, harmonium and tambura.
