MATA Festival 2011

NYC's trendiest new-music fest continues with a show that highlights composer-performers of the postclassical world. Corey Dargel and Dither Electric Guitar Quartet premiere a new song cycle, Say Yes; Angelica Negron and the chorus Cantori NY perform a 2011 MATA commission FONO; Chris Danforth and the Danforths make music out of old answering-machine messages, found objects, and homemade instruments; and Florent Ghys wires his double bass.
