With a new month at the Stone comes a new guest curator. For the first two weeks of October the task falls to Timba Harris—violinist, composer, bandleader and linchpin of anarchic art-crunch combo Secret Chiefs 3. His impressive opening gambit includes an early set by Janet Feder, a bewitching singer-songwriter and maverick guitarist, and a 10pm set from pianist Matt Mitchell, playing with a combo that includes Oscar Noriega, Herb Robertson, Travis Laplante and Tyshawn Sorey.
