Matt Skiba and the Sekrets + The Smoking Popes

Matt Skiba, who is probably best known as the frontman of Alkaline Trio, recently put some time into developing a solo full-length called Babylon with his other band, the Sekrets. Not surprisingly, the record sounds like a more-stripped-down and somber version of his main gig's output. Opening is Chicago's the Smoking Popes, who played emo before it was called emo.
