Megafaun + Doug Paisley

Dusty-sounding roots-pop combo Megafaun first got together in Eau Claire, WI, under the name DeYarmond Edison—which featured Bon Iver's Justin Vernon in its lineup—then upped sticks for North Carolina. Fans of the Mountain Goats and Bowerbirds (with whom Megafaun has toured) will likely dig the band's twangy, sweetly psychedelic sound.
