Melody Gardot with the New York Pops

Philadelphia singer Melody Gardot launched her music career while recovering from a life-threatening injury, and has since become one of that city’s notables; the smoky-voiced singer is capable of conveying real longing and subtlety. Tonight she kicks off the 25th season of Central Park SummerStage, with a special show backed by the New York Pops.
