Meredith Monk's Education of the Girlchild Revisited

Before Benjamin Button, there was Meredith Monk's 1972 music-and-dance piece Education of the Girlchild, which traced the aging process in reverse. Tonight Monk Ensemble regulars Ellen Fisher, Katie Geissinger and Allison Sniffin join the iconic experimental artist in a retelling of the story that incorporates other Monk pieces from that era.
