The Blackened Music Series presents one of its most adventurous bills yet, the pairing of mind-blowingly prolific Japanese noise god Masami "Merzbow" Akita—appearing tonight in tandem with drummer Balazs Pandi—and shadowy Saskatchewan duo Wold, whose records sound like black metal being engulfed by virulent static.
